High blood pressure is also called hypertension as people with this kind of pressure tend to get upset over the silliest things. Of course there are plenty of people who would have had it before pregnancy itself, however there are a few women who get it during this phase and it’s termed as pregnancy induced hypertension.

Another major problem that you may come across is that of premature deliver. Due to the separation of the placenta as well as other complications that arise due to hypertension, it’s very likely that it would lead to a premature birth.

The baby would be weak

Since this condition also narrows the blood vessels in your womb, there’s a probability that the child will not receive enough of nutrients and hence they’re weak and underweight when born.
